ShaxX-DUAL-XX
Dual channel SMPTE hybrid alternative connection kit.
Used in conjunction with 2 x Shax-CCU;
Enables 2 hybrid fibre cameras to be connected to the CCU via standard fibre networks.
Power is inserted into the hybrid cable.
The ShaxX system by Bluebell has been designed to provide power insertion to broadcast cameras equipped with standard SMPTE 304M hybrid connectors, thereby enabling them to be powered remotely via the hybrid cable.
The ShaxX-DUAL enables two cameras to be powered from a single mains supply via their own individual hybrid cables.
Power can be inserted and transferred to the remote camera which can be located up to 300m away.
When combined with the Shax-CCU, cameras can be deployed remotely using ordinary single-mode fibre optic network that may exist in a stadium.
The Shax-DUAL is switch-selectable between major camera manufacturers for easy deployment.
This system enables the user to replace the fibre/copper hybrid cable between the camera and CCU with a standard fibre cable and relay all communications and signals.
This frees the camera from the need to be connected to a local mains power supply.
The ShaxX/Shax system is perfect for stadiums, arenas and concert halls that have pre-installed fibre networks.
The ShaxX-DUAL is housed in a robust and reinforced aluminium case, ideally suited to outdoor broadcast and rapid deployment applications.
The ShaxX can also be combined with the BC series multi-format interfaces to transport signals from multiple cameras over a single cable.
