Corvid 44 12G BNC is AJA's ultra-fast and compact 8-lane PCIe 3.0 I/O card with four full-size bidirectional 12G-SDI BNC connections, designed for today's most demanding audio and video workflows. Corvid 12G 44 BNC is available in multiple configurations with passive or active cooling options.
Whether you're working in HFR 8K/4K/Ultra HD, 2K/HD, SD, Deep Colour and/or HDR, discover the quality and peace of mind that Corvid 44 12G BNC brings to your projects. Supporting 10-bit 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 colour spaces, up to 12-bit, Corvid 44 12G BNC provides capture and output via 12G-SDI, which is also backwards compatible with 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI and 1.5G-SDI. The bidirectional 12G-SDI ports offer immense flexibility for simultaneous capture and transfer for a range of solutions.
12G-SDI multi-format PCIe I/O card
Corvid 44 12G BNC features four bidirectional 12G-SDI connectors with a reference input. 8K input or output is possible using four 12G-SDI cables and 4K/Ultra HD I/O can be achieved with a single 12G-SDI or 6G-SDI cable or four 3G-SDI cables. 2K/HD I/O can be achieved with a single SDI cable or dual-link SDI, whilst allowing simultaneous capture and monitoring via SDI. Corvid 44 12G BNC is available with active (fan) or passive (fanless) cooling, with both versions supporting RS422 and LTC input via connectors on the top edge of the card.
Format and frame rate support
Corvid 44 12G BNC supports 8K (8192 x 4320) and Ultra HD2 (7680 x 4320) workflows at high frame rates (HFR) up to 50/60p for the most demanding applications. Cinema frame rates of 23.98, 24, 47.95 and 48p are also supported in 8K, 4K and 2K. High frame rates are also available across multiple I/O including 4K HD, Ultra HD, 1080p and 720p up to 50/60p, making Corvid 44 12G BNC extremely flexible for your current and future needs.
Hardware keying
The integrated downstream hardware keyer enables easy overlay of graphics and images over input video in real time up to 4K.
Reference and LTC input
Corvid 44 12G BNC provides a switchable external LTC/Reference connection on the rear of the card.
RS-422
An integrated RS-422 connection is available as an "internal" connection via a connector on the Corvid 44 12G BNC. RS-422 enables control of external devices for precise frame-by-frame capture and transfer.
